The Essential FX Palette contains 12 richly pigmented FX cremes, that make any skin effect a breeze. Create bruises, abrasions, and bloody effects out of the palm of your hand while taking up minimal kit space.

These cremes are packed full of micro-fine pigments that help create hyper-realistic effects that appear beautifully under HD cameras. Ideal for use by Film & TV, SFX, theatre, and cosplay artists.

As part of the Studio color series, all shades are refillable and the palette features a clear acrylic lid that keeps shades accessible at all times.

Technique:

Use a sponge or synthetic brush to apply creme colors. For custom blends of shades, use a spatula and mixing palette to mix two or more shades together.

You can utilize the brighter red and coral shades for abrasions, and fresh bruises, while deeper blue and purple shades can be used to create life-like bruises and black eyes. Try using the green, yellow, and golden tones for mimicking the natural healing colors that occur in later stages of bruising.

Blend these cremes out with alcohol to create transparent layers of color. Our Stipple and Texture Brushes are perfect for creating fine speckles, mottling, and skin texture with colors from this palette.

Set cremes with Neutral Set setting powder. Gently wipe off makeup with Quick Cleanse on a cotton pad. Wash off residue with soap and water, oil-free Hydra Cleanse, or a facial wipe.
